	Installation Standing only 13.5 inches high the  Wellness Filter® takes up very little room and is an attractive addition to any countertop. The Wellness Filter® has two options for installation. The Countertop unit is  easily self installed and requires no plumbing.  Just attach the main valve of the unit to your kitchen faucet (click here to see picture) and begin use. The Under-Sink unit requires a licensed plumber and approximately one hour of plumbing time.
	As can be seen in the picture above and right, the filter control switch is easily installed onto the end of your faucet.  Your tap should have a removable screen at its end, this unscrews and allows the fitting.  The filter comes with four different types of adapter rings (inside or outside threads) for easy fitting.   If your tap does not have a thread, or if you have a designer faucet, you may need to replace it with a compatible model.  Please call or email us for advice.
	Hose Length and Filter Replacement Please note that there is 5.0 feet of filter hose.  This allows ample room to place the filter well away from sink/counter.  Some users have placed the filter on top of their kitchen cupboards or, alternatively, the hoses can be detached from the control unit and run through a hole (drilled by you or your plumber) into the countertop and reattached.  This allows you to have an under-sink filter option without having to buy, install and plumb the under-sink kit below.
